Dr. Derrik Hartman

Dentist

Dr. Hartman was raised near Rochester, Minnesota and went to Dover-Eyota High School. He went to Luther College for undergrad where he received a bachelor of arts in biology. Dr. Hartman attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and graduated in 2013 with a doctorate of dental surgery.

After graduation from dental school, Dr. Hartman practiced for one year in St. Charles, MN. He spent three years working in Atlanta, GA enjoying all the south has to offer. Ultimately family, friends and ‘Minnesota nice’ brought him back home. He spent one year working in Chisago City, MN before joining Como Park Dentistry. Dr. Hartman practices comprehensive dentistry and is proficient in oral surgery, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and treating periodontal disease in addition to standard general dentistry. He maintains a rigorous continuing education curriculum to stay up to date on all the advances in dentistry and technology. He also enjoys volunteering at the Salvation Army Good Samaritan Clinic and on Give Kids A Smile day.

Dr. Hartman lives in St. Paul and loves everything that the city has to offer. Outside of the office, Dr. Hartman is an avid sports fan, especially college football and remains a huge fan of the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. He stays active by playing in local softball, curling, and basketball leagues. He enjoys going to craft breweries, and will always use a vacation as a chance to try a new brewery.
